Dr. E. William Waring, Jr. has been delivering beautiful smiles to the New Oxford community for almost forty years. An important leader in the community, Dr. Waring upholds a set of values and standards that encompass excellence in dentistry and in his personal life.Dr. Waring received his education at the University of Maryland, Baltimore College of Dental Surgery and is invested in continuing education through the Dawson Academy and Spear Education. In addition to providing general dentistry for the family, Dr. Waring has completed special training in both conventional and mini-implants.
He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry as well as the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the American Dental Association. Dr. Waring serves as the school dentist for students at the Conewago Valley School District and also serves as the dental consultant for Cross Keys Village, the Brethren Home Community.
Each year Dr. Waring takes a mission trip to Honduras, where he provides dental care to the underprivileged. Along with his annual Christmas Clinic for local school children in need, Dr. Waring’s mission trips and other community services are highlights of his career. In fact, he’s been awarded the Eisenhower Humanitarian Award for his commitment to the care of others.
Dr. Waring’s philosophy revolves around bringing compassionate dental care to every patient, from preschoolers to seniors. As a father himself, Dr. Waring is great with children and believes that starting children early with proper dental care leads to a lifetime of healthy smiles. All four of his children, Jess, Brennan, Brianne, and Camlynne, were born at the same hospital in York, PA. Dr. Waring and his wife, Christy, are active members in their community. In addition to providing excellent dental care, Dr. Waring serves as a worship leader at his church and spends his time outside the office, running, playing tennis and making music on the keyboard.
